Space Simulation Toolkit is a 2D particle-physics sandbox where you create and explore simulations. Its building blocks are atoms, which can link into structures and form materials with different physical properties.
Experiment with gases, liquids, soft and solid matter, chemical processes, and changing states. You can alter the laws of physics, arrange particles into mechanisms, and observe how materials behave under different conditions.
Create A-Life environments with features such as light, water, soil, plants, and creatures. The game also lets you explore how living worlds develop through evolutionary genetics and AI.
Players who enjoy the game often describe it as an engaging physics sandbox for experimenting, building projects, and adjusting detailed simulations. Several appreciate the freedom to toy with particles and create unusual scenarios. Others report that their experience is held back by hardware compatibility, crashes or poor performance, and a steep learning curve.
