You play as the Luminary, a young man who discovers he is the reincarnation of a legendary hero. Branded a threat by the king, he sets out with a growing band of companions to learn about his past and face a danger to the world.
Travel across towns, fields, dungeons, and seas, meet characters, find items, and take on side quests. Battles are turn-based, with party members using distinct abilities and equipment against monsters and bosses.
Characters develop through levels and individual skill trees, while crafting lets you make or improve equipment. This edition includes optional 2D and 3D modes, character-specific scenarios, and a choice between original and orchestral music; Draconian Quest settings offer optional challenges.
