You lead a civilization from a small settlement, expanding across a hex map by founding cities, developing land, and gathering resources. Build toward victory through territorial growth, wonders, or military conquest.
Most actions are played from a deck: cards let you construct improvements and buildings, raise units, build wonders, and research technologies or adopt civics. Trade resources for gold or other resources, and manage your deck by keeping useful cards and removing others to shape future draws.
Combat takes terrain and positioning into account, while unit upgrades and civilization-specific abilities support different approaches. Play solo skirmishes and daily or weekly challenges, or compete and cooperate with other players online.
