After the Great War, you command a group of Czechoslovak soldiers trying to travel across Siberia and reach home by way of an armored train, amid the Russian Civil War.
The journey alternates between managing the train and its crew and leading small squads in real-time tactical missions. You can pause combat to plan orders, use soldiers’ specialist abilities, and choose between stealth and direct fighting.
On the train, assign soldiers to jobs, tend to health and morale, craft supplies, and maintain and upgrade carriages and the locomotive. Gather or trade resources along the route, send squads on excursions, and develop soldiers with new skills and equipment.
Players who enjoy the game often highlight its unusual historical setting, the combination of train-and-crew management with tactical missions, and its tense atmosphere and story.
