Gordon, a repairman, is sent to shut down a mysterious broadcast from an abandoned children’s-show studio. Inside, the familiar puppet cast has become hostile, and Gordon must find his way through the studio to reach the source of the signal.
Explore connected rooms, solve puzzles, and use the map to plan routes through the studio. Combat is resource-focused: weapons fire alphabet letters as ammunition, while a grid-based inventory limits what Gordon can carry. Duct tape can keep down puppets that might otherwise get back up.
Progress involves revisiting areas as new paths open and searching for items and optional objectives. These objectives can affect the ending, and completing the story unlocks Neighborhorde mode.
Players often enjoy the classic survival-horror mix of puzzles, exploration, backtracking, and resource planning, along with the unusual puppet-show setting and its humor. Story, atmosphere, and voice acting are recurring highlights. Some describe the horror as light or the standard difficulty as easy, so the tone and challenge do not appeal to everyone.
