Take the role of a subway driver on a recreated section of Seoul Subway Line 1, spanning about 43 km and 30 stations between Kwangwoon University and Anyang or Gwangmyeong. The route includes both above-ground and underground sections.
Operate the train by controlling its cab systems, adjusting speed to ATS signals, and making accurate station stops. Driver-alert monitoring and AC/DC power changes at neutral sections add further tasks during a run.
Choose from different trains and service diagrams, with scenery changing as time passes and options for different conditions. AI trains and passengers bring activity to the line and its platforms.
Players often praise the detailed recreation of Seoul and its Line 1 scenery, along with the realistic train controls and the sense of operating a working subway. Many enjoy learning the demanding driving systems and meeting the challenge of precise stops. Some also call out AI trains and passengers as additions that make the route feel busier. The learning curve is a recurring drawback, though; some players find the controls and tutorial difficult to get started with.

Hmmsim Metro covers the section between Kwangwoon Univ to Anyang/Gwangmyeong (about 43km, 30 stations), the core of Seoul Subway Line 1.
This section is divided into a similar ratio between the ground and the underground section, so you can enjoy various experiences.
PSD, position indicator, and ATS signal are also implemented to provide even more interest.
The train cab is also implemented similarly to the real world.
Hmmsim Metro has DSD (driver alert), so you should focus more on driving.
Switch AC-DC between direct-to-transfer in the section where the voltage changes, and run the train while controlling the speed according to the ATS signal.
Hmmsim Metro comes with several diagrams.
You can enjoy various trains and realistic scenery changes as time passes and even operate the 'hidden train'.
