Traversal centers on a bouncy moveset: pogo jumps and ground pounds combine with dashes, slides, wall-runs, and wall-flips to cross the environment. An upgradeable municipal waste-disposal vehicle lets you travel through the overworld.

Combat pits you against unusual enemies, while exploration brings quests, collectibles, and trinkets to exchange in a gift economy. Character progression includes stats and checkpoints; some currency is dropped on death and can be recovered.
