I Am Alive casts the player as a lone survivor in a believable, dark and insecure post-apocalyptic world.
Developed by Ubisoft Shanghaï · Published by Ubisoft

One year after a worldwide catastrophe, a lone survivor returns to a devastated city to look for his wife and daughter. The streets are filled with dust, rubble, and other survivors, some in need of help and others hostile.
Explore the ruined city and climb buildings and other structures to move through blocked or dangerous areas and find supplies. Climbing, running, and jumping use stamina; if it runs out, the protagonist can fall, so routes and places to rest require planning.
Food, medicine, and ammunition are scarce. In encounters with hostile survivors, aiming a gun can intimidate enemies even when it is empty, but they may call the bluff. You can also choose whether to spend supplies helping people you meet.
In the supplied reviews, players often praise the bleak, immersive atmosphere and the tension created by climbing with limited stamina and searching for scarce resources. The empty-gun intimidation mechanic and encounters with survivors also stand out as distinctive parts of the experience. Some reviewers criticize the short, abrupt story, clunky controls, and combat that can feel repetitive.
