We Love It's Guide to…

Mark of the Ninja

Play as a ninja marked with tattoos that heighten his senses, moving through side-scrolling missions tied to a conflict threatening his clan. The story provides context for a campaign focused on stealth and infiltration. Climb walls, hang from ceilings, grapple between positions and use shadows to avoid detection. Read enemy sightlines and sound cues, then choose routes and tools to slip past guards, distract them, or take them down; open confrontation is dangerous. Earn upgrades to expand your techniques and equipment, and complete optional objectives, score challenges and hidden-collectible hunts. Different tools and outfits support varied approaches, while New Game Plus adds further challenges after the main story.

Guide a tattoo-marked ninja through 2D levels, using shadows, sound, gadgets and varied routes to evade or silently defeat guards.
