In an alternate ending to World War II, Hitler unleashes an army of undead soldiers. You play as sniper Karl Fairburne, one of the last survivors in Germany, fighting through a zombie-infested Berlin.
The campaign combines precision shooting with close-quarters survival against groups of undead. Shots account for factors such as gravity, wind, and stability, while the X-ray kill cam follows bullets striking their targets.
You move through campaign levels, choosing positions and using traps, ammunition, and secondary weapons to hold off attacks. The campaign can be played solo or with up to three other players, who can coordinate shots and defend together.
In the supplied reviews, players often enjoy combining precise Sniper Elite-style shooting with zombie survival, especially the X-ray kill cam and the tense, eerie atmosphere. Co-op with friends is frequently described as more fun, with teamwork adding coordination to the fights. Some reviews find the encounters repetitive or the campaign short, and others report launch or online-play problems.
