Play as Sam “Serious” Stone, fighting the alien forces of Mental across campaigns that visit Ancient Egypt, Mayan lands, the Persian Empire, and Medieval Europe. The package brings together The First Encounter and The Second Encounter, with an additional Bright Island campaign.
Combat centers on moving through large arenas while facing waves of enemies from multiple directions. Use shotguns, miniguns, cannons, and other weapons, collecting ammunition, health, and power-ups as you go; hidden secrets reward exploration between battles.
Beyond the campaigns, play Survival or take on cooperative and versus modes, including local split-screen. The game also includes tools for creating levels and mods, along with Workshop support for sharing community content.
