We Love It's Guide to…

Divinity: Original Sin (Classic)

You play as two Source Hunters investigating a murder that draws them into a larger threat in the fantasy world of Rivellon. Create the pair, then recruit up to two additional adventurers to form your party. Explore towns, wilderness, and other locations; question characters, follow clues, uncover secrets, and take on quests with multiple possible solutions. Character creation and development are flexible rather than locked to fixed classes, letting you combine skills, attributes, spells, equipment, and crafting to shape your party. Combat is turn-based and tactical, with action points, positioning, and environmental effects shaping each encounter. Combine spells and surfaces—for example, electrifying water or setting oil alight—and experiment with different approaches. The campaign can be played solo or cooperatively, with both players taking part in conversations and decisions; a toolkit also lets players make and share adventures.

Two Source Hunters investigate a murder in Rivellon, exploring freely, building a party, and fighting tactical, element-driven battles.
