You play as one of five paranormal investigators searching a haunted forest and its locations for clues to the curse and the events behind it. The group’s goal is to uncover the story and find a way to lift the curse.
Explore the surroundings with paranormal investigation gadgets to detect entities and unusual objects. Search for evidence, solve environmental puzzles, and contend with hostile creatures that can turn an investigation into a chase.
Play alone or cooperatively with up to five players. Investigators have distinct skills and special abilities, puzzles adjust to the number of players, and a defeated character’s soul is sent to another realm with a chance to escape. An adjustable bodycam effect can change the view’s intensity.
The supplied reviews have mixed impressions of the released chapter. Some players enjoyed investigating and solving puzzles with friends, and praised its scares, atmosphere, and story potential. Others criticized bugs, puzzle and enemy design, and the limited content; a recurring frustration was waiting for the announced next chapter and feeling the game remained unfinished.
