After aliens interrupt his nap, 78-year-old Murray Mendelson takes up arms to defend his home and lawn from their attacks. The game is an endless arcade shooter with a territory-defense setup.
Aim and fire at waves of approaching aliens, deciding which threats to focus on as the attacks grow stronger. Keep Murray alive for as long as possible while the pressure increases.
Collect alien orbs to upgrade weapons, and use powers including Cane Time, Infuriate, and Soundwave when attacks become difficult. The Shed offers additional weapons to try.
Players who enjoy the game often point to its straightforward, accessible arcade defense and its silly premise of an angry old man fighting aliens. Some appreciate the rising challenge and weapon upgrades, while other reviews say the repeated waves and progression lose their appeal over time.
