You face increasingly dangerous zombie attacks and try to survive for as many nights as possible. The game is viewed from above and centers on defending a small base against waves of undead.
During the day, spend money on weapons, ammunition, barricades, and turrets. At night, shoot the incoming zombies and rely on your defenses; each wave grows more difficult, so you must decide how to spend resources and arrange your base.
Play solo or team up with up to three other players in online or local co-op. Other modes include Endless survival and player-versus-player Deathmatch, offering alternatives to the day-and-night defense cycle.

It also features online co-op mode, where you can blast zombies with up to three friends as well as player vs player deathmatch mode!
The remastered HD version of the game is available and has better rendering and physics, new zombie characters and animation, as well as the addition of new enemies.
