You play as a police officer investigating a fatal attack linked to a mimic, a creature that can disguise itself. The case takes you through a remote, snowbound area where residents and surroundings may hold clues.

Drive between scattered locations, get out to explore, and question local people as you follow the investigation. A map helps you navigate the area, while simple first-person controls let you interact with objects and use a flashlight.
