You play as a priest hearing the confessions of four people whose lives and crimes are connected by one woman. Their accounts unfold in a world of memories, thoughts, and illusions.
Explore each confessor’s mental landscape by clicking objects, examining clues, and uncovering mementos hidden in their memories. Light puzzles and interactive scenes help piece together what happened.
After hearing each confession, decide whether to forgive or condemn the sinner. Your judgments shape their fates, and the story offers six endings to discover.
Players who enjoyed the game often praised its distinctive artwork, atmospheric music, and interactive scenes that make exploring memories part of the storytelling. Some also appreciated the light puzzles and reflective moral choices. Opinions on the narrative were sharply divided: many reviewers found its writing or later revelations confusing or unsatisfying.
Deathless Death is a narrative puzzle game featuring Psychological Thriller elements. In this story, you take on the role of a priest, entering a world filled with thoughts and illusions. Listen to the confessions of four sinners, uncover the secrets of their past, and unravel their fates intertwined by one woman.
As the chimes strike the hour, you light the candles on the altar one by one. Upon lighting the fifth candle, drops of wax fall onto the pristine white altar. The flames flicker softly, awaiting the sinners to confess.
The confessional door opens, then closes. Through the cross-shaped screen, you cannot see their faces clearly. Their words are laced with lies, self-embellishment, fear, and bravado, but you must peel away each layer. Only when the fog of words is cleared will the truth behind the reflections emerge.
Soothe the restless souls, listen to the turmoil in their hearts, and extinguish the flames of their desires. This is your mission, and you are destined to reach the end.
