OPUS: The Day We Found Earth

In a far-future galaxy, humanity has lost track of Earth and needs its origins to address a genetic crisis. You guide Emeth, a small robot carrying out a promise to its creator: find the planet.

Operate a deep-space telescope to scan starfields and search for planets that match clues. Each discovery advances the mission and brings new conversations and story details.

Between searches, explore the spaceship and find items that reveal more about its crew and the long-running expedition. Optional objectives add further celestial targets to locate.

Players who respond to the game often appreciate its tender story, lonely-space atmosphere, and music, with some saying the simple search mechanic suits the reflective journey. Others find scanning repetitive, the story brief or predictable, and the gameplay too slight to sustain interest.
