Polarity

You play a hacker hired by a client with mysterious motives to break into a secure database. The single-player campaign leads you deeper into its systems as you work through a first-person puzzle platformer.

Switch between red and blue polarity to interact with energy barriers and walls, and throw colored cubes at devices. Puzzles combine these mechanics with jumping and navigating platforms.

Alongside the solo campaign, Polarity has a separate local two-player co-op campaign with 15 levels and a versus mode built around tossing cubes.

Some players enjoy the red-and-blue polarity mechanic and the puzzles it creates, especially the satisfaction of working out a solution or experimenting through gradually more demanding levels. Others describe the puzzles as simple or the level design as frustrating, and multiple reviews report unreliable jumping or other control problems. A few players also mention enjoying the local multiplayer modes.
