Take command of a ship in a procedurally generated world of islands, towns, pirates, and rival factions. Sail solo or cooperate with other players, choosing your own goals rather than following a central storyline.
Explore open waters, deliver goods, complete town quests, fight pirate ships, and help towns meet their needs. You can focus on trade or take a more combative path, while your actions shape local growth and faction influence.
Earn resources and reputation to improve your ship, acquire more powerful vessels, and expand your reach. As you sail farther from your starting area, challenges and rewards increase; towns that prosper can offer better ships and upgrades.

Towns will respond to your actions, growing as you supply their needs. Build a fearsome reputation, and the AI will take notice—some will challenge you, while others will choose to stay out of your way.
