When Joker takes control of Arkham Asylum, Batman must move through the island complex and confront its escaped inmates. The game casts you as the Dark Knight in a contained, single-player action-adventure.
Fight groups of enemies by chaining attacks, counters, and gadgets, or use stealth to stalk armed guards from above and take them down quietly. Detective tools help examine clues and solve environmental puzzles as you navigate the asylum.
Arkham’s connected areas hold secrets, riddles, and collectibles. New gadgets open routes into previously inaccessible places, while earned experience unlocks abilities and equipment upgrades. The Game of the Year Edition also includes four challenge maps.
