Choose fighters from Marvel and Capcom and form a team of three to take on rival teams in a crossover fighting game. Each character brings a distinct set of moves and attacks.
Fight with fast strikes, special moves, assists from teammates, and long combo sequences. Tag-team mechanics let you combine characters in different ways, while arcade and versus battles put those teams to use.
Practice character-specific combos in Mission Mode, play through Arcade Mode, or compete locally and online. Heroes and Heralds adds battles for territory and cards that grant characters special effects.
Players often praise the fast, chaotic team combat, describing the combo system and combinations of characters as rewarding and varied. Many also enjoy playing with friends and appreciate the crossover roster and comic-book presentation. Some reviewers point to a steep learning curve and sparse online matchmaking, while others criticize the balance or find the single-player story content limited.
