In the Stone Age, you play as Takkar, a hunter separated from his group who must help rebuild the Wenja tribe in Oros. Rival tribes and dangerous wildlife threaten your people as you work to secure a home.

Explore forests, mountains, swamps, and other regions while hunting animals and gathering materials. Fight with bows, spears, clubs, and traps, or use stealth and a tamed animal companion to approach enemy camps.

Use gathered resources to craft and improve equipment, develop skills, and expand your village as you bring more Wenja together. You can also send an owl to scout and mark targets; survival mode adds harsher rules to exploration and combat.

Reviewers who enjoy the game often point to its Stone Age setting, the dangerous wildlife and atmosphere of Oros, and the distinctive ability to tame animals for hunting, scouting, and combat.
