Cloud Strife, a former member of Shinra’s elite SOLDIER unit turned mercenary, joins the resistance group Avalanche in Midgar. Their fight against the corporation’s control of the planet’s Mako energy draws Cloud into a larger conflict and forces him to confront his lost past.

Travel through cities, fields, and other locations with a party of characters, talking to residents, uncovering routes, and taking on optional activities. Random encounters lead into turn-based battles where you choose attacks, spells, abilities, and items.
