You play as Marcus Holloway, a young hacker who joins DedSec in the San Francisco Bay Area. The group sets out to challenge ctOS 2.0, a system used to monitor and manipulate the public.

Use a phone to hack connected devices and city infrastructure, scout with a drone, and send a remote-controlled car into places Marcus cannot reach. Missions can be approached through stealth, nonlethal takedowns, direct combat, or by manipulating enemies and the environment.

Explore the open-world city, take on story and side missions, and develop skills and hacker tools to suit your approach. The game also includes co-op and adversarial online modes.
