Set in the early 1980s, Trapped Dead follows college students Mike and Gerald after a stop at a gas station near Hedge Hill puts them in the path of a zombie outbreak. The virus is linked to genetically modified corn, and the pair must find a way through the infected town.

This is an isometric real-time tactics game in which you direct survivors through locations such as a hospital, mall, jail, and military base. Missions involve navigating each area, completing objectives, gathering supplies, and fighting or evading zombies.

You can control multiple characters, equip them with weapons and items, and make use of their different capabilities. Pausing lets you plan or revise orders; interactive environmental traps can help clear a route or take out groups of zombies. The game also offers co-op for up to four players.
