High school student Kou Tokisaka is drawn into the Eclipse, a hidden realm filled with hostile monsters, and joins classmates and allies to confront the threat. The story unfolds in Morimiya City, where school life and supernatural events intersect.
Between dungeon expeditions, explore the city, talk with residents, take on quests, and spend time with friends. In the Eclipse, fight through dungeons using real-time attacks, dodges, special moves, and character swaps; each fighter has distinct abilities and elemental strengths.
Earn equipment and upgrades, strengthen relationships that provide combat benefits, and aim for high dungeon rankings by finishing quickly and finding treasure. The eX+ edition adds character-focused scenarios, playable White Shroud, and Time Attack and Boss Rush modes.
