Paradigm is a point-and-click adventure set in the post-apocalyptic country of Krusz. You play as Paradigm, a mutant abandoned by the genetics company that created him, who dreams of making electronic music but is drawn into a larger crisis.
Explore locations, inspect objects, talk with unusual characters, and use clues to solve puzzles. The story mixes absurd comedy with a retro-futuristic, Eastern European-inspired setting.
Progress through the story by solving puzzles and interacting with the world; optional dialogue and content offer more to discover. Minigames and cutscenes break up the point-and-click sections, and fast travel helps with revisiting locations.
Players who enjoy the game often praise its absurd humor and dialogue, distinctive art and setting, music, and voice acting. Several also find the puzzles approachable and satisfying, though some reviewers feel they are too easy, and the humor does not work for everyone. A few describe the adventure as short.
