Barotrauma

Barotrauma is a 2D submarine survival game set beneath the ice of Jupiter’s moon Europa. You and your crew travel through a hostile ocean in a submarine, with six roles—including captain, engineer, mechanic, medic, and security officer—sharing responsibility for the voyage.

Navigate with sonar, operate the reactor and weapons, repair hull breaches and machinery, and respond to creatures and other dangers. Missions take crews between outposts and can involve combat, transport, salvage, or exploration. Crafting lets you make supplies, equipment, weapons, and medicine from gathered resources.

In the campaign, crews earn money and resources, build faction relationships, upgrade the submarine, and develop characters through experience and talents. The game supports solo play with bots or multiplayer crews of up to 16 players. Submarine and character editors, along with mod support, offer ways to customize the experience.
