You play as a dinosaur hunter taking contracts for Preton Corporation. The goal is to find and hunt target animals across islands populated by 21 dinosaur species, each with its own behaviors; some dinosaurs also hunt one another.
Explore jungles, plains, and mountains on foot, by swimming, or through fast travel. Changing weather and a day-night cycle affect expeditions, while outposts, special locations, and story notes offer points of interest along the way.
Choose from firearms, bows, and hunting tools such as callers and range finders. Earn rewards from hunts to buy equipment, track wounded dinosaurs, and build a customizable lodge for displaying trophies. Play solo or in multiplayer with up to 12 players.
