In a pulpy, retro sci-fi alternate history, you fight through chaotic 2D levels in a mix of brawling, shooting, and platforming. Play solo, in online multiplayer, or on a shared screen, with modes including story campaigns, versus battles, and survival.
Combat combines firearms, explosives, and melee weapons with movement and improvised attacks. Levels are semi-randomized, and objects can be moved, destroyed, thrown, used as cover, or set on fire, making the surroundings part of each fight.
Campaign challenges unlock clothing and other fighter customization options. A built-in editor lets you create and share maps, while players familiar with C# can make scripts and campaigns; custom content can be uploaded to the Steam Workshop.
