Broforce is an action-packed side-scrolling run ‘n’ gun ode to freedom, putting you in control of an under-funded, overpowered paramilitary organization dealing exclusively in excessive force.

Play as a paramilitary force of action-movie-inspired heroes on a mission to fight enemy forces across side-scrolling campaign levels. Move from one end of each level to the other, taking on enemies and bosses along the way.
Run, jump, shoot, and use each hero’s distinct weapons and special attacks. Rescuing captives brings in new heroes, while destructible terrain lets you blast paths through obstacles and set off chain reactions.
Play the campaign alone or in co-op with up to four players, or compete in several multiplayer modes. Explosion Run offers timed courses with collapsing terrain, and a level editor lets you create and share custom stages.
Players often enjoy the game’s chaotic co-op, especially the unpredictable mayhem of playing with friends. Reviews also praise the destructible levels, the varied action-movie-inspired characters and their different abilities, and the humor. Some players find the later challenges and environmental hazards frustrating, and a few say the random character selection can make difficult encounters harder.
