High school student Kihara Kashin is trapped in Kuromori-chō by an unknown force. After meeting Kiritani Yuki, she sets out to travel into the past and uncover the town’s secrets in a story that blends Japanese folklore with historical events.
Explore pixel-art locations, talk with a varied cast of people and yōkai, and follow clues through three main chapters. The chapters tell connected tales while gradually revealing more about Kuromori-chō and Kihara’s predicament.
Gameplay combines dialogue and environmental exploration with puzzles and occasional chase sequences. Shifting between points in time helps connect clues, while hidden bonuses and two endings offer more to discover.
