After the Moonfall calamity, you play an Outer—a human with unusual abilities—and a mercenary working for the Orbital organization. You pilot an Arsenal in a conflict against Immortals, corrupted AIs threatening humanity.
Take on missions to fight enemy machines, rival mechs, and colossal foes. Combat combines fast movement and flight with ranged and close-combat weapons; you can also recover weapons and parts from defeated enemies during battle.
Customize your mech with different parts and weapons, and change your avatar’s appearance or gain skills through body modifications. Online modes let you team up for boss fights and base-exploration missions, or compete against other pilots.
Players who enjoy the game often point to its fast mech movement, customizable builds, and the satisfaction of collecting parts and weapons. Its anime-styled presentation also appeals to some. Reviews frequently criticize the repetitive missions and story dialogue, while opinions on the combat range from enjoyable to simplistic or lacking impact.
