Davis Russell, an ordinary cop and father, is drawn into a war when an unknown enemy invades his city and his daughter goes missing. He and his partner, Leo Delgado, face the threat with conventional weapons and tactics proving inadequate.
Use a Gravlink device to increase or decrease gravity on targets. Float enemies into range, lift cars for mobile cover, and manipulate objects to clear obstacles or protect yourself. Combat also shifts through changing gravity and weightless environments.
Fight through the story campaign alone or in co-op, using an environmental cover system and destructible surroundings to change the battlefield. The game also offers competitive multiplayer modes.
Some players enjoy the gravity-based combat, describing its central mechanic as interesting and satisfying, and praise the action and story. Others find the campaign fun or challenging. These positive impressions are frequently tempered by reports of crashes and difficulty getting the PC version to run.
