You play as the last Genetic Infantryman, a soldier betrayed during the Quartz Zone massacre. On the chemically ravaged planet Nu-Earth, you fight the Nort regime and pursue the Traitor General.
The campaign is a third-person shooter built around cover combat, with opportunities to use stealth and choose how to approach objectives. Your rifle can be fitted with different weapon modules, while explosives, turrets, and other tools help you take on enemy troops and vehicles.
Three fallen squadmates live on as biochips in your rifle, helmet, and backpack, providing tactical abilities. You can collect salvage to make ammunition and upgrades. The 13-mission campaign is accompanied by online co-op modes for 2–4 players, including wave defense and an escape-focused mode.
In this review sample, players often enjoy Nu-Earth’s distinctive sci-fi setting and the return to a game they remember, while others praise the mission and weapon variety or the ways tools like mines, decoys, and turrets let them approach fights. Some appreciate the updated visuals. Recurring reservations include awkward controls—especially mouse aiming and cover movement—and reports of bugs, with some players also finding the campaign short or the combat dated.
