In Warhammer 40,000 Space Marine you are Captain Titus, a Space Marine of the Ultramarines chapter and a seasoned veteran of countless battles.
Developed by Relic Entertainment · Published by Relic Entertainment

You play as Captain Titus, an Ultramarine sent with a squad to defend the forge world of Graia from a massive Ork invasion. The mission is to hold key locations and protect the planet’s war-making facilities.
Fight through linear levels in third-person combat that combines ranged weapons with close-quarters attacks. Switch weapons to face enemy groups, use executions to restore health, and build Fury for a powerful combat mode.
The campaign introduces weapons and incremental upgrades to abilities as it progresses. Outside the story, online modes include 8v8 battles with customizable Marine classes and Exterminatus, a cooperative mode focused on fighting waves of enemies.
Reviewers often enjoy the weighty mix of melee and shooting, especially the forceful feel of chainswords, bolters, and executions. Many also value the grim Warhammer setting and the direct, action-focused campaign, while some find its fights repetitive or its story less compelling.

| Multiplayer | The game includes single-player and online multiplayer. Official store text confirms 8 vs 8 online PvP. Reviews consistently describe an online co-op horde mode called Exterminatus, and some reviews describe it as supporting up to 4 players. Multiplayer uses peer-to-peer hosting rather than dedicated servers, and reviews report host migration, latency, and a small active player base. |
| Multiplayer & mods | One review explicitly mentions the 'Space Marine Augmented' mod, but the provided text does not state specific multiplayer changes from mods. DLC mainly affects multiplayer by adding maps, armor/skins, and Chaos-related PvE content; one review states the DLC is multiplayer-only, while another says DLC maps and game types become available. |
