In the demon realm of Hinomoto, Fuji agrees to protect Pirilika, a wealthy young woman pursuing her ambitions. Their journey takes them through a world of netherworlds and demons with differing beliefs.
Lead a squad in turn-based, grid-based strategy battles, moving units and using their abilities to defeat enemies. Build a team from more than 40 character classes and tailor its members to suit different battles.
Develop characters and equipment through repeated battles and long-term progression. New systems include Jumbification, Hell Mode, and Item Reincarnation; cleared stages can also be set to auto-battle, and teams can compete in online ranked battles.
Players who enjoyed the game often praised its familiar Disgaea-style loop of tactical battles, character customization, and extended grinding, with some also enjoying its story and humor.
