After a strange incident draws the Phantom Thieves into a realm ruled by an oppressive military group, a revolutionary named Erina asks for their help. The team’s mission unfolds in a story featuring returning characters alongside new allies and foes.
Battles take place on grid-based maps in turn-based encounters. Move a team of three, use weapons and Persona skills, and expose enemies from cover to earn extra actions. Positioning can set up a powerful attack that hits foes inside the triangle formed by your team.
Between battles, follow story scenes, take on optional missions, and develop characters through skill trees and Persona fusion. Missions include different objectives and environmental elements that can shape how you approach a stage.
Players who enjoy the game often appreciate spending more time with the Persona 5 cast, the new characters and their story, and the soundtrack and art style.
