We Love It's Guide to…

Receiver

You enter a building complex with only a handgun and an audio cassette player, seeking to uncover the secrets of the Mindkill. Automated turrets and hovering shock drones threaten you throughout the search. Combat focuses on manually operating your handgun: loading individual rounds, inserting magazines, manipulating the slide and handling other weapon controls. The available firearms include a Colt 1911, a Smith & Wesson Model 10 revolver and a Glock 17. Explore procedurally generated layouts and collect 11 audio tapes, which reveal the story in an unordered sequence. Runs have no checkpoints: if you die, you must begin the search again.

Search a randomized complex for Mindkill tapes while manually operating handguns and surviving lethal turrets and shock drones.
