Kazuma Kiryu has faked his death and taken the name Joryu to protect his family. When a mysterious figure threatens to pull him out of hiding, he becomes caught up in a conflict tied to his new life.
Fight through real-time brawls using two styles: Yakuza, built around forceful attacks, and Agent, which combines quick strikes with gadgets such as bind wires. Switch between them to handle groups of enemies and one-on-one fights.
Explore Sotenbori and the Castle, a ship with a battle arena and other diversions. Take on Akame’s side missions, improve Kiryu’s abilities with money and Akame Network points, and spend time on activities such as karaoke, cabaret, and Pocket Circuit racing.
Players frequently praise Kiryu’s personal story and emotionally affecting finale, especially those familiar with earlier series entries. Many also enjoy switching between the two combat styles, using Agent gadgets, and taking breaks for the Coliseum and minigames. Some appreciate the game’s focused, shorter format, while others find the campaign too brief, the side tasks uneven, or the combat less satisfying.
