Create a fighter from one of several races and join Trunks as a Time Patrol member based in Toki Toki City. Your role is to correct distortions that have changed events across the Dragon Ball timeline.
Take part in fast-paced 3D battles alongside familiar characters, using close-range attacks, flight, and special techniques. Story missions revisit major events with changes to their outcomes, while parallel quests offer additional battles.
Develop your fighter by leveling up, choosing skills and equipment, and training under original Dragon Ball characters who teach techniques. Missions can also reward items and skills, and collecting Dragon Balls lets you make a wish.
In this helpfulness-selected sample, players often enjoy making their own fighter and stepping into familiar Dragon Ball events as a Time Patrol member. Reviews also praise the energetic battles, character growth, and learning techniques from iconic masters; nostalgia is another recurring part of the appeal. Some players find the missions and reward hunting repetitive, and several mention clunky combat or challenging encounters.
