Rias and Slade return to Hallfein, the hometown emptied by a mysterious disaster twelve years earlier. Rias hopes to restore her missing grandfather’s shop, while Slade seeks answers about his father and the tragedy. Together, they work to revive the town and uncover what happened.
Explore the mainland, gather materials, take on quests, and switch between the protagonists, whose field abilities help them reach different places. Day and night can change the creatures and materials found in areas. Battles use a shared timeline, with front and back rows, character swaps, linked attacks, and items shaping the fight.
Use gathered ingredients in color-link synthesis to make items, pass along traits, and discover new recipes. Sell goods through Rias’s shop and invest the proceeds and resources in Hallfein’s restoration; town development unlocks further recipes and story progress. Multi-floor Dimensional Paths change their layouts and monsters between visits and offer materials and equipment.
In this sample, players often enjoy the game as a return to a more traditional Atelier-style blend of alchemy, exploration, and turn-based combat. They praise the crafting for being approachable while still allowing experimentation, and enjoy the tactical battle systems, returning series characters, and the relationship between Rias and Slade. Reactions to the story and cast vary, and some players find the color-link synthesis restrictive or the inventory tools cumbersome; repetitive dungeon layouts and story pacing also draw criticism.
Two young adults return to their lost hometown in search of truth and to bring back what they hold dear.
