The Jackbox Party Pack is a collection of five same-room party games. One person starts a game from the pack menu, and other players join on phones, tablets, or computers by visiting a web address and entering the room code. The games are designed for groups, with player counts varying by game.
The games offer different ways to play: You Don't Know Jack 2015 is comedic trivia; Fibbage XL asks players to invent believable answers to fool others; Drawful has players draw prompts for others to identify; Word Spud builds a sentence one word at a time; and Lie Swatter has players judge statements as true or false.
Players use their devices to submit answers, drawings, or words, then interact with one another's entries as each game proceeds. The pack's five formats center on trivia, bluffing, drawing, and wordplay, with the prompts and player-created responses shaping each session.
Reviewers who enjoy the pack often describe it as a fun way to bring friends or family together, with Fibbage XL and Drawful especially often singled out for their bluffing, drawings, and player-made jokes. Some also appreciate how players can join using phones. Others find the games uneven or dated compared with later packs, and note that the experience depends heavily on having an engaged group.
NOTE: These games are same-room multiplayer party games.
