The Jackbox Party Pack 2 is a collection of five multiplayer party games. Players join using phones, tablets, or computers as controllers, with a web browser rather than a separate game controller.
In Fibbage 2, players invent false answers to trivia prompts and try to spot the truth. Quiplash XL asks players to write responses to prompts for others to judge, while Earwax has them combine sound effects to answer a prompt.
Bidiots turns player-drawn pictures into an auction, where players use clues about artwork values to decide what to bid on. In Bomb Corp., up to four players work together to defuse office bombs using instructions divided among them; its campaign also includes tasks such as filing documents and making coffee.
In this review sample, players often describe the pack as a fun group activity, with Quiplash XL and Fibbage 2 praised for funny answers and Bidiots frequently singled out for its drawing and auction twist. Some also appreciate the variety and easy browser-based joining. Opinions on individual games differ, however: Earwax and Bomb Corp. are favorites for some players and less appealing for others, and several reviewers prefer newer versions or packs.
The sequel to the party game phenomenon The Jackbox Party Pack, featuring FIVE fresh, rib-tickling party games! Games include:
The runaway hit bluffing game with over 500 brand-new questions, more than 2x the original! Plus new features, like the deFIBrillator!
The hear-larious sound-effects game that will leave you up to your ears in laughter!
Cow moo? Huge explosion? Or tiny fart? Which to choose?
The absurd art auction game where you draw right there on your phone or tablet. Outbid your opponents for weird art pieces – drawn by players themselves – and win this strangely competitive auction game! Don’t be a bidiot!
The say-anything, gut-busting Quiplash XL, which includes everything in Quiplash, Quip Pack 1, AND over 100 brand-new prompts!
The bomb-defusing nailbiter of a party game! As interns at Bomb Corp., you must defuse random bombs in the office in order to keep your jobs. You’ll probably die, but it’ll be good work experience!
Players play using their phones, tablets, or even computers as controllers – making it the perfect easy-to-join party starter. No extra controllers needed! And, spectators can join and affect some games by playing as Audience members!
