David Hoover moves into a new apartment during a difficult period in his life. Strange events in the building lead him to ask about the former tenant, then set out to find the man and understand what happened. Explore apartments and other locations, investigate clues, talk with people David meets, and solve puzzles by interacting with the environment and using items. The search unfolds as a 2D horror adventure with tense pursuits and combat encounters. As David follows the trail, the mystery connects with the lives of people he encounters. The game has multiple endings, and a second playthrough can reveal additional scenes and a different ending.

After moving into a strange apartment, David investigates its former tenant through 2D exploration, puzzles, and horror encounters.
