Play as Adalia de Volador, a swashbuckling defender of the people who takes on the cruel Count-Duke in a lighthearted, episodic adventure. The story unfolds across four episodes set in colorful locations including marketplaces, dungeons, and palaces.
Fight groups of guards with attacks, parries, dodges, kicks, and acrobatics. Learn enemy weaknesses and use objects and hazards in each arena—such as barrels, chandeliers, and cannons—to stun foes, break their defenses, or gain room to maneuver. Stylish fighting builds a Panache Meter for special skills.
Between battles, traverse levels with climbing and platforming, and seek out secrets and episode challenges. Arena Mode offers replayable enemy waves in randomized scenarios with gameplay modifiers.
Players often praise the prop-driven fights, where parries, dodges, kicks, and arena objects reward improvisation against groups of enemies. Many also enjoy the playful battle banter and voice acting, along with the colorful presentation.
