We Love It's Guide to…

DmC: Devil May Cry

This reboot retells Dante’s origin in a contemporary world where demons influence human society. Dante, an outsider caught between angelic and demonic heritage, discovers more about himself with the help of his twin brother Vergil and the group called the Order. Dante fights demons across Limbo, a hostile dimension where streets and buildings reshape around him. Combat combines swords, guns, and distinct angelic and demonic weapons, which he can switch between during combos; grappling abilities also pull Dante toward enemies or draw enemies to him, and help him cross hazardous spaces. The campaign introduces weapons and abilities as it progresses, with options to upgrade skills and revisit missions. Hidden collectibles, secret challenges, mission rankings, and higher difficulty settings give players additional goals beyond reaching the end of the story.

A young Dante hunts demons in a shifting Limbo, chaining sword-and-gun attacks with angelic and demonic weapons.
