In a post-apocalyptic open world, you start with little and search locations for supplies while facing zombies and other dangers. Play alone or with others as you look for somewhere safe to settle.
Survival involves monitoring your character’s condition as food, water, health, and changing weather create ongoing demands. The four seasons affect conditions and available resources, while clothing, medicine, cooking, and farming help you prepare.
Gather materials to craft more than 400 items and build a shelter from a range of structures. Skills in areas such as medicine, tailoring, agriculture, and weapons manufacturing unlock technology and recipes; you can also develop shelter utilities, trade with merchants, and use vehicles to travel.
Positive reviewers enjoy the demanding survival routine, especially gathering supplies, managing character needs, and gradually building a safe base. Some also praise the skill and crafting progression, the atmosphere, and playing with friends. Views are sharply mixed: many other reviews describe bugs, rough combat, and an unfinished or repetitive experience.
