Cloudpunk

You play as Rania, a new driver for Cloudpunk, a semi-legal delivery service in the sprawling city of Nivalis. During her first night on the job, she carries packages to people across the city, where androids, AIs, and humans each have their own stories.

Travel between Nivalis’s elevated districts in a hovercar, then park and explore on foot to reach recipients, talk with locals, and take on side jobs. You can also search for items and hidden places as the delivery routes bring you into contact with different parts of the city.

The story unfolds through conversations and encounters on the job, with mysteries involving corporate power, hackers, and rogue AI. Decisions appear at key moments, while vehicle repairs, fuel, and upgrades support continued travel; discoveries can open up additional stories.

Players who enjoy Cloudpunk often point to Nivalis’s rain-soaked neon atmosphere, its distinctive voxel city, and the way deliveries introduce memorable characters and stories. The music and relaxed hovercar exploration also appeal to some players. Others find the delivery-and-walking loop repetitive, and some criticize the length of dialogue or the driving controls.
